Conan in SF




The girlfriend and I were lucky enough to win tickets to see Conan Obrian in San Francisco on Monday. We waited in line for four hours to make sure we got in. It was awsome! The real cool part was seeing what happens in between comerical breaks. It's AV GEEK kind of thin. Sorry no more pics, the NBC folks were nazis about cameras.

    So...what kinds of things do they do durning the commerical breaks...do tell.

    During the breaks Conans 40 producers would come out and talk to him about the next segment. He would also interact with audience. They treated each break like a real break even though the show was pre taped. The crazy thing is that the show had 15 HD Cams and a jib cam. Outside there were 2 sat trucks. I guess a back up incase one broke. He would also read all of his scripted material during the break as practice. A lot to do in a three minute break.
