AV Geeks
Five amigos once thrown together in Hippieville...
Now, we're fighting evil in the desert, on the prairie and in the city.
Sure, we're the glorified AV geeks of local news... but we're much much cooler.

MI CASA

Most of you probably know this already...but I bought my first house last month.

We bought the rental we were living in, from a man formerly known as ALP.

It feels good to own a home. I made my first mortgage payment today. It's much easier to cut a check that mostly goes back to yourself, rather than some landlord...or apartment company...or whatever.

I recommend purchasing...especially now that the economy is soaring so high.

vote obama.

Being a news photog

can suck! Day in and day out, you go to fatal car ax's, perp walks, and bs stories the diva anchors pitch.

and then...

It was a good day today!

On the move!

I'm super excited about going on my vacation next week

Can anyone guess where I could be going?

All I know is I need to get out of the desert.....and fast. All this solar energy is overloading my brain, and there is way too much shit to deal with right now. I'm debating not returning....maybe.

JOE PAH

I'm back from Pennsylvania. The Beavers were dismantled by Penn State. But I did get to take a picture with the bronze Joe Paterno...which...now that I've seen him up close and in person...doesn't look all that different from the actual Joe Paterno.

Though, as you may have gathered, Heather and Tom had a wicked day out on the town with the protesters.

My favorite anarchist quote ever:

"We're making the decisions democratically..."

I'll let you mull that over.
